Aeromexico Reports April 2020 Traffic Results

MEXICO CITY, May 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX) today reported April 2020 operational results.

• Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), decreased by 82.3% year-on-year. Of the capacity offered 37.8% was deployed, primarily for long haul international charter business. Adjusting for these operations, the scheduled capacity reduced by 89%.

• Grupo Aeromexico transported 151 thousand passengers in April; a 91.1% year-on-year decrease. International passenger numbers decreased by 96.8%, while domestic passenger numbers decreased by 87.7%.

• Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), decreased by 93.3%, year-on-year.

• Aeromexico's April load factor was 47.9%, a 34.2 p.p. decrease versus April 2019.
