Aeromexico Reports July 2020 Traffic Results

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX) today reported July 2020 operational results.

• Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), decreased by 67.1% year-on-year.
• Grupo Aeromexico transported 513 thousand passengers in July; a 73.2% year-on-year decrease and an increase of 110.7% versus June 2020. International passenger numbers decreased by 89.2% compared to July 2019, while domestic passenger numbers decreased by 62.3% versus July 2019.
• Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), decreased by 80.4%, year-on-year.
• Aeromexico's July load factor was 58.5%, a 29.6 p.p. decrease versus July 2019.
• In August 2020, Aeromexico plans to increase operations from Mexico City to Cancun, Mérida, Durango, Los Mochis, Chihuahua, Culiacan, Miami, Paris and Sao Paulo, and plans to restart services to Quito, Las Vegas, Denver and San Francisco.
