Arrivalist and Tourism Economics Partner to Inform Travel Sector Marketing Analysis

NEW YORK, March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Arrivalist, the first and only travel location data company of its kind to empower marketers with in-market visitor movement patterns, announced its partnership with Tourism Economics to strengthen the economic company's internal market analysis capabilities.

Arrivalist's location services will be integrated into Tourism Economics' models to track international visits to the United States, providing invaluable insights to empower research and inform strategic business recommendations.

Beginning with analysis of 2018 trends, Tourism Economics will incorporate Arrivalist metrics on device counts from over 330,000 international trips from Canada, Mexico and Brazil into calculations of visitation to 50 U.S. cities in all 50 states. The distribution of observed mobile devices will focus on overnight visitors and will be combined with existing immigration, credit card, aviation and survey data to produce robust estimates of travel volumes, nights spent and spending of visitors.
