Canadian Airline Introducing New Flights to Mazatlán

MAZATLÁN, México, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Sunwing Airlines of Canada will add direct flights between Mazatlán and several Canadian cities early next year. A Mexican government official announced that the deal was struck last week at a major travel conference in Guadalajara.

Sunwing officials have also announced new flights for early 2017 from Victoria, B.C., to Huatulco, Oaxaca, from Kelowna, B.C., to Cancún and from Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Mazatlán.

Mazatlan is already served by a major airport and will likely gain more Canadian and U.S. connections as a result of the new agreements. Indeed, Mazatlán International Airport is a convenient 20-minute drive from the southeast part of the city, making it easy for travelers to get into and out of the area without any difficulty.
