MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Aug. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Recent Cash 5 drawings produced jackpot winners in Luzerne, Cambria and Northumberland counties.

One winning ticket sold at Valley Mart, 2999 Bear Creek Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, won a Cash 5 jackpot worth $225,000 for the Friday, August 19, drawing.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls, 08-10-14-21-33, to win a prize of $225,000, less applicable tax withholding. The retailer earns a $500 selling bonus.

Cash 5 produced two more big winners on Sunday, August 21, when a $225,000 jackpot was split by two tickets sold by Keiper's Farm Mart, 144 Farm Mart Road, Sidman, Cambria County; and Turkey Hill, 501 N. 2nd St., Shamokin, Northumberland County.

Each ticket correctly matched all five balls, 01-19-22-28-42, to each win $112,500, less applicable tax withholding. The retailers each earn a $500 selling bonus.

The prizes must be claimed and the tickets validated before the winners can be identified. Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages each holder of a jackpot-winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery's seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.
