Celebrate America's Birthday In Its Birthplace

PHILADELPHIA, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- There's no better place to celebrate Independence Day than in the Birthplace of Independence! As the gateway to Independence National Historical Park, the Visitor Center is the perfect place to kick off July 4^th festivities in Historic Philadelphia.

HOURS AND ADMISSION:
To commemorate America's 240^th birthday, the following historic sites and attractions will offer extended hours and/or special admission:

The Independence Visitor Center will offer extended hours of operation, 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., July 1 – 4.

Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Center will offer extended hours of operation, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., July 1 – 4. No timed tickets are necessary to tour the Hall between 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.; or all day on July 4.

Independence Mall Café, will offer extended hours of operation, 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. from July 1 – 4.

The National Constitution Center will offer extended hours of operation, 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., June 30 – July 2. Admission is free on June 30, July 2 and 4.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS:

GETTING AROUND:
The Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop will operate a special holiday service on Monday, July 4.
