PHILADELPHIA, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- There's no better place to celebrate Independence Day than in the Birthplace of Independence! As the gateway to Independence National Historical Park, the Visitor Center is the perfect place to kick off July 4th festivities in Historic Philadelphia.

HOURS AND ADMISSION:
To commemorate America's 240th birthday, the following historic sites and attractions will offer extended hours and/or special admission:

The Independence Visitor Center will offer extended hours of operation, 8:30 a.m.8:00 p.m., July 1 – 4.

Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Center will offer extended hours of operation, 9:00 a.m.8:00 p.m., July 1 – 4. No timed tickets are necessary to tour the Hall between 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.; or all day on July 4.

Independence Mall Café, will offer extended hours of operation, 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. from July 1 – 4.

The National Constitution Center will offer extended hours of operation, 9:30 a.m.8:00 p.m., June 30July 2. Admission is free on June 30, July 2 and 4. 

SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS:

GETTING AROUND:
The Philly PHLASH Downtown Bus Loop will operate a special holiday service on Monday, July 4. For only $2 per ride or $5 per day, the PHLASH is the quick, convenient, and affordable way to access 22 key destinations across the city. HISTORIC SAVINGS
The Historic Philadelphia Pass allows visitors to explore multiple sites in the nation's birthplace for one low price. The Historic Philadelphia Pass includes two days of unlimited on-off access to ride the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop; and one-time admission to three key historic sites: the National Constitution Center, the Betsy Ross House, and Christ Church Burial Ground.The Historic Philadelphia Pass is available exclusively at the Independence Visitor Center, for only $18/adults, and $13/children (ages 4 – 12).
