Chicago To Host New Year's Eve River Fireworks Display

CHICAGO, Dec. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Welcome 2019 with an unforgettable fireworks celebration along the Chicago River this New Year's Eve.  Promptly at midnight, a choreographed fireworks display will light up the sky synchronized across five separate launch sites along the Chicago River. The display will be free to view, courtesy of Choose Chicago, the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association, and participating partners from the city's hospitality industry. A website has been created to provide details about the event including locations where people can view the fireworks, attend parties, and/or get rooms with guaranteed views of the spectacle.

Founding partner, Hyatt Regency Chicago, along with other event partners, are located in close proximity to the display launch points, offering guests beautiful views and plenty of entertainment options. Visitors and locals alike are encouraged to eat, drink and be merry at a variety of partner venues and events.
