"Whether you prefer the luxury of an old Victorian mansion or the country-living charm of a converted barn, Pennsylvania boasts more than 700 bed and breakfasts, country inns, and farmstays where travelers can pursue their happiness in cozy comfort," said Carrie Lepore, Deputy Secretary of the Office of Marketing, Tourism, and Film, Department of Community and Economic Development. "The 'Cabin Fever' promotion is a great way to start 2017, offering unique lodging options throughout Pennsylvania."

To kick off the promotion, the Pennsylvania Tourism Office has launched a sweepstakes through which one grand prize winner will receive a two-night stay at the Buhl Mansion Guesthouse and Spa in Sharon, plus dinner for two each night at Stonewall's Tavern and Ashley's Gourmet Dining Room at the nearby Tara - A Country Inn. Two runners-up will be awarded a $100 gift certificate redeemable at any PABBI member property. Enter the sweepstakes at visitPA.com though January 29, 2017. Winners will be notified in February.

During the month of January, travelers are encouraged to book a night stay with a participating bed and breakfast or farmstay in order to receive the second consecutive night at a discounted rate, or free, throughout the month. A list of eligible properties is available at www.painns.com.
