Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau's Annual Membership Meeting will focus on Educating Professionals, Elevating Events

What:  Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) 2017 Annual Membership Meeting

Who:  DMCVB members and the general public are welcome to attend. Cost is $50 for DMCVB members and $55 for non-members. On-site registration will be available. Media attendance is complimentary.

When:  Wed. Jan. 25, 2017
9 a.m. - noon
Presentation begins at 10 a.m.
Lunch will be served at noon

Why:  The meeting's theme, "Educating Professionals, Elevating Events" will focus on three education sessions leaving attendees with a valuable set of ideas on why online reputation management is important, ways to increase customer satisfaction and how current legislation and issues are affecting the hospitality industry.  The DMCVB's 2017 initiatives will also be announced.

The three education session speakers include Scott Caufield, DMO sales manager, Midwest with Trip Advisor, Adrian Tonon, director of customer service with the City of Detroit and David Bargamian, attorney with Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker, LLC.
