El Cid Mazatlán Highlights Pacific Triathlon

There were four different races held over the weekend including the children's race, the juvenile race, the sprint race, and the standard triathlon. On the 17^th of March, kids between 6 and 13 participated in the Children's Triathlon, and 14 and 15 year olds going head to head in the juvenile category. The competition really heated up on the 18^th of March; when the Standard and Sprint Triathlons took place. Each of these later races saw over 400 competitors take on the challenge, offering a true spectacle to attendees. This race was truly an event that was family friendly and fun for all ages, and for both spectators and competitors, and proved to be one of the most interesting events in Mazatlán this year.
