Faithful+Gould Welcomes Mia Buchignani As A Lead Project Manager

NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Faithful+Gould is pleased to announce that Mia Buchignani has joined the firm as a lead project manager. Buchignani will be based in Lafayette, California, while supporting Faithful+Gould's team in Houston.

Buchignani brings more than 14 years of experience to Faithful+Gould, delivering expertise that spans airport/aerodrome programming, construction management, stakeholder facilitation, data collection and research to clients in the aviation, corporate real estate and government sectors. She commands particular knowledge of the analytical process for facility programming, workplace and process analysis, large-scale web-based surveying, population and behavioral segmentation and traditional and experimental research methodologies.

Most recently, she served as an Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) project manager with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority for Hamad International Airport. ORAT is a tested and proven methodology for airport planning which cuts down on stresses to the end user by setting a clear plan and methodically checking every foreseeable outcome along the way, preventing mistakes from occurring during the transition from construction to operation. Mia's experience in this process further enhances her experience in the aviation sector.

In her role for Faithful+Gould, Buchignani is working as a project and ORAT manager for United Airlines' project management office (PMO) at the airline's Houston hub at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). United's new Terminal C North project, which is an integral component of Houston Airport System's IAH master plan, consists of a new 265,000-square-foot concourse facility with 11 new gates.
