Lake Presidential Golf Club to Celebrate the Grand Opening of Its 'Remastered' Clubhouse

UPPER MARLBORO, Md., March 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Lake Presidential Golf Club is proud to announce that it has completed a significant remodeling and renovation of its 11,000-square-foot clubhouse and it will be hosting a series of events in late March and April to mark the Grand Opening.

The events — dubbed Lake Presidential "Remastered" — have been designed to coincide with The Masters golf tournament, held each spring in Augusta, Georgia. The unveiling will culminate in a three-day open house in which the public is invited to visit, tour the new clubhouse and watch The Masters, while enjoying food, drinks and special activities.

Lake Presidential, located within the popular BeechTree community in Upper Marlboro, has earned a variety of accolades, including being named Maryland's No. 2 "Best Course You Can Play" by Golfweek magazine in 2016.

Billy Casper Golf took over management of Lake Presidential in 2016. This renovation and subsequent plans to upgrade the 18-hole championship course are part of the highly respected management team's efforts to re-establish Lake Presidential Golf Club as the Washington, D.C., area's premier public golf destination.

Meet the Team Open House — 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

April 4
Lake Presidential Golf Club Member Appreciation Night — 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

April 5
BeechTree Community Night — 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

April 6
Lake Presidential Business Partners Open House — 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

April 7-9
Grand Opening Celebration — 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Guests at the events can meet the club's new general manager, food and beverage director, and chef, as well as its golf pros and instructors. As they tour the clubhouse, visitors can also enjoy music, food and cocktails, as well as participate in a variety of other golf and social activities.

Renovations at Lake Presidential begin with the exterior of the building and extend through the interior of the clubhouse, including the main foyer, the banquet and meeting areas, the pro shop and its restaurant, known as The Grille.
