New Venues Added to Diamond Live Concert Series Schedule

LAS VEGAS, April 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Resorts™, a global leader in the hospitality, vacation ownership and entertainment industries, announced today the company is taking its groundbreaking Diamond Live concert series to new venues as a way to enhance the exclusive experience for its members.

The new venues include:

Stoney's Rockin' Country in Las Vegas, Nevada
Orlando Forum in Orlando, Florida
The NorVa in Norfolk, Virginia

"We began the concert series in 2016 with our Diamond Celebrities performing acoustic sets on small stages set up at a handful of our resorts," said Mike Flaskey, Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Resorts. So far this spring, Diamond Resorts has a handful of shows scheduled at each of the new venues with performances by country music stars Cole Swindell, Lauren Alaina, and Colt Ford. Many of the concerts will include a meet and greet session with the star, plus dinner and an open bar.

Because the shows are only open to Diamond Resorts members and invited guests, attendees receive an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience that no other industry competitors currently offer.

Lauren Alaina, the 2018 ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year, officially kicked off the Diamond Live series on March 12 with a performance at the Orlando Forum, located in the heart of Orlando's International Drive tourist district.

Currently on tour with country star Blake Shelton for his Friends & Heroes 2019 tour, Alaina spent the evening getting to know the group of Diamond Resorts members by posing for photos, and even inviting a few to dance and sing with her on stage.

The Orlando Forum is one of Central Florida's newest live performance venues and features 6,000 square feet of space plus a completely customizable two-level stage. It is currently home to the Rock Dinner Show, a high-energy entertainment and dinner experience for all ages.

Comedian Jeff Dye will be the first Diamond Celebrity ambassador to take the Stoney's Rockin' Country stage for a Diamond Live event on April 16, followed by multi-award winning and platinum-selling 10-time No. 1 country music singer-songwriter Cole Swindell on April 29.

Located inside Town Square on the famous Las Vegas Strip, Stoney's Rockin' Country features a 2,500 square foot dance floor and is known as the spot where country music lives in Las Vegas. Stoney's regularly welcomes nationally touring country artists to perform intimate shows for fans. The two-time ACM (Academy of Country Music) nominated Nightclub of the Year, was also voted Las Vegas's top nightclub 2018, LVRJ and Best Country Bar by Nightclub and Bar Magazine.

Easton Corbin, who has two NO. 1 singles and seven top 10, will be the first Diamond Celebrity to perform at The NorVa in Norfolk, Virginia, on April 22. Steeped in history, the original NorVa Theater opened in 1922 as a premier movie theater and ran films until the 1970s. The building was briefly used as an athletic club in the 80s and 90s, before being renovated as a concert venue and reopened in 2000.

The NorVa has welcomed numerous big-name artists, including the "Godfather of Soul," James Brown, for its opening show and Prince, who sold out the venue in less than five minutes. Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan have also performed at the venue.
