With a rich lumber history in Bend, The Old Mill District was home to two of the largest pine saw mills in the world. In Northland's early days, much of its raw wood was sourced from the old Brooks-Scanlon mill before it closed in 1983. Today, Northland Furniture still sources most of its wood from Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
