Visiting hot springs in Japan is common and used for relaxation and Oita Prefecture, located in southern Japan, used this video to show the traditional element of visiting hot springs.

The synchronized swimming was performed by a group of professional swimmers, lead by Raika Fuji, former silver medalist in the Sydney Olympics. The choreography, directed by "air-man" was paired up with a song written by Rentaro Taki, whose music was particularly influenced by the Oita Prefecture.

Oita Prefecture has the largest number of hot springs in Japan, and the Yufuin and Beppu areas in the video are some its most popular destinations.

The video was produced with an effort to increase the foreign visitors from 680,000 in 2015 to more than 1.2 million by 2024. Oita Prefecture also plans to strengthen the Wi-Fi support in tourist facilities, establishing a 24-hour translation service (English, Korean and Chinese) for lodging facilities.
