Online Survey Reveals Las Vegas Hospitality and Gaming Employee Sentiment Toward Employers

LAS VEGAS, May 27, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Experience Strategy Associates, a boutique consulting firm founded by Greg Chase, focused on assisting organizations with customer experience and branding strategy, announced results from an online survey evaluating employee sentiment during COVID 19.

According to the survey, employees throughout the Las Vegas hospitality and gaming industry feel their employers have opportunity to curate higher levels of employee engagement as they prepare to return to work.

"Survey results highlighted how employees truly feel about the companies they work for," said Greg Chase, Founder and CEO of Experience Strategy Associates. "If organizations do not make a conscious effort to focus on their employees as they return to work, the holistic customer experience is at great risk, which we know ultimately impacts long term revenue and customer loyalty."

The anonymous random survey garnered more than 300 participants and consisted of multiple choice and open-ended questions. Key findings from the survey include:

  • Only 32 percent of total respondents feel their employer cares about them through COVID-19
    • Within this group, 68 percent of respondents do not feel their employer has transparently communicated updates through COVID-19
    • Within this group, 73 percent of respondents do not feel a sense of commitment and loyalty to their employer
    • Within this group, 68 percent do not recommend their employer as a great place to work
  • Only 32 percent of total respondents feel their employer has transparently communicated updates through COVID-19
  • Only 43 percent of respondents feel their employer is prepared to welcome guests back
