Originating in Seattle, Puzzle Break is one of the longest-running and most well-known puzzle rooms in the United States. Regularly scheduled games take place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with private and corporate events available at custom times throughout the week and weekend. These puzzle rooms have become highly popular across the country for get-togethers with family and friends, teambuilding exercises and more.

Puzzle Break also recently made headlines when it announced that it would be partnering with Royal Caribbean cruise line to offer the first and only escape rooms at sea.

"We are very pleased to announce the expansion of Puzzle Break to Long Island, an area that has shown much demand for awesome, immersive entertainment, and we've got the best in the business," said Nate Martin, founder of Puzzle Break. "It is incredibly exciting to now have this experience available on the west coast, east coast and even out at sea—and we look forward to future expansion in cities across the country."

While playing Puzzle Break games, participants are locked in a room for one hour and need to collaborate to solve puzzles, discover hidden clues and, ultimately, make an escape. Only about 15 to 20 percent of teams are able to escape the rooms, which have themes that include astronomy, fantasy, old Hollywood, underwater and futuristic. The entire experience takes about 90 minutes to complete.

Puzzle Break is one of the most popular escape rooms, which have taken off in recent years both domestically and worldwide. While the concept originated in Japan, there are an estimated 370 rooms across 150 locations in the U.S. alone. In fact, demand is so high that tickets at many of these locations sell out several weeks in advance.

"In a world in which entertainment is moving further and further away from real life, escape rooms offer a very different type of experience for people," Martin said. "We are offering something new, fun and truly interactive to people throughout the region. We couldn't be more excited to open up the facility in July."
