MONTRÉAL, April 30, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) invites the public to join its Annual Public Meeting (APM) webcast on May 29, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time to hear VIA Rail Chairperson of the Board, Françoise Bertrand, the President and Chief Executive Officer, Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, and other Executives give presentations on the Corporation's performance, financial results and plans for the future.

Vote on which questions will be answered during the APM
This year, the public will help determine which questions will be answered during the Annual Public Meeting. Between May 1-13, interested parties are invited to ask questions by visiting the VIA Rail's 2018 APM web page. From May 14-25, the most-asked questions will be gathered, and the public can vote on which of these will be answered during the event. Answers to all the submitted questions will be published on VIA Rail's website in the weeks following the event.

The webcast will be simultaneously translated and can be watched in both official languages. Subtitled versions in English and French will also be available on VIA Rail's YouTube channel subsequent to the webcast.
