OTTAWA, Sept. 20, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On September 21st, at VIA Rail's Ottawa station, the Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, Jody Mitic, Councillor at the City of Ottawa, Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, President and CEO of VIA Rail Canada, and other dignitaries, will welcome 90 athletes from Team Canada that will be performing at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto.

About the Invictus Games Toronto 2017
The Invictus Games is an international Paralympic-style multi-sport event, created by His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, indoor rowing and for the first time, golf. The 2017 edition of the Games will be held in Toronto from September 23rd to 30th.
