MONTRÉAL, May 15, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Espace pour la vie invites media representatives to the 22nd annual Great Gardening Weekend, being held May 24 to 26 at the Jardin botanique de Montréal. The theme of this year's Great Gardening Weekend is heirloom plants, and about 65 exhibitors will be on hand to introduce visitors to rare varieties of plants, vegetables and herbs. There will be activities for the whole family: sheep being herded, characters from the Village québécois d'antan and workshops for children aged 7 to 12. Seven talks by horticulture specialists are also scheduled.

Please note that admission will be free on Friday, May 24. This free day was a big success last year, when over 30,000 visitors turned out.
