Several Hundred Local Fans Cruising with the Dominos Band

HAMMOND, La., April 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After packing the festival grounds this weekend with thousands of fans at the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, The Dominos Band is gearing up to head out on Easter Sunday for "Souled Out, Cruisin' With The Dominos."  The Dominos Band and travel partner, Vacation Makers Travel, have chartered luxury buses to bring the band and several hundred local fans to Galveston, Texas, where they'll cruise the Caribbean for seven days aboard the Royal Caribbean, Liberty of the Seas.

The Dominos Band is filled with talent, and their impressive song list makes for a great stage show, but the Hammond-based jam band's 24 years of milestones can be attributed to one thing: staying true to their fans. While many bands struggle to differentiate themselves, The Dominos Band, believes staying true to their roots and grateful to their fans, has been the key to their longevity and popularity.

It's the third time The Dominos Band has put on this event and each year, they've added concerts, shows, theme parties, and fans. Lead vocalist and founding member, Joe Abene, describes their fans as "family." "To me, life is about making moments," Abene says. "I think that's what we have been able to do on the cruise, help people create moments of significance in their lives."

Together with their local fans cruising from Galveston this Sunday, The Dominos Band hopes to bring it all together with sun shinning, music jamming and the night heating up on the beautiful Royal Caribbean, Liberty of the Seas.
