Shire Shuttle Bus Calls for Brakes to be Slammed on Sydney's Exorbitant Toll Road Prices

SYDNEY, Aug. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Shire Shuttle Bus, which operates a fleet of buses in the Sydney area, has confirmed that it is officially calling for the high cost of toll roads engulfing Sydney to be drastically reduced if jobs in the bus transportation industry are to be saved. The excessive prices are taking their toll and Thursday, September 1st, 2016 is when a raft of new charges will be brought in by the Roads and Maritime Service.

"Up to 12 jobs are at risk here alone and we and our fellow bus operators need to survive this crisis. The company is disappointed and frustrated that it could not access statistical bus transportation data for Sydney past 2002 from the official Transport for New South Wales website.
