SoCal's Top Fireworks Display and New Year's Eve Bash Aboard The Queen Mary

LONG BEACH, Calif., Dec. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ring in the New Year with a night of unforgettable celebrations and entertainment inspired by some of Hollywood's most famous films abroad the majestic Queen Mary on December 31, 2016. Travel throughout the ship's decks, ballrooms, and salons to step into the magic of your favorite Hollywood movies. Each themed party will celebrate the sights and sounds of beloved movies, culminating with one of SoCal's best New Year's Eve fireworks display at midnight.

The Queen Mary's New Year's Eve extravaganza offers a celebration for everyone. Guests can choose to start their evening with delicious dining reservations in the Chelsea Chowder House, Sir Winston's or the Italian New Year's Eve Buffet in the Grand Salon.

Las Vegas Showgirls kick-off the night's celebrations and a variety of live music will play throughout the night including top 40 hits from DJ Carisma on the Verandah Deck Gazebo and EDM favorites from DJ Cutt on the Sports Deck. Country music star, Stephen Wesley, will perform in the Royal Salon and Dueling Pianos will take over the Britannia Salon.

Award-winning magician, Jon Armstrong, will show-off his amazing close-up magic on the Promenade Deck. Those who prefer to dance the night away can celebrate the New Year with a salsa dancing class or try the infamous dance-lift with the "Dirty Dancing" demo.  Sweep across the dance floor in different themed-parties with salsa, ballroom, swing, and belly dancing performances all night.

Must be 21+ to attend. General admission tickets are $99 and include admission, fireworks, and access to select parties: Avatar, Urban Cowboy, Mambo Kings, Matrix, The Godfather, and Now You See Me. VIP tickets with premium firework viewing are $199 and include admission, premium fireworks viewing, 2 drink tickets and access to all parties: Dirty Dancing, Avatar, Urban Cowboy, Mambo Kings, Matrix, The Godfather, Goldfinger, Arabian Nights, and Now You See Me.
