SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Soccer icons and American youth soccer pioneers Albert Puig, Hugo Perez, Mark Christie, Andrew Donnery and Paul Bright will be meeting to discuss, at the event, "Future of US Soccer," the future of youth soccer in the United States.
As the event unfolds attendees will hear speeches and participate in a lively Q and A where they can ask their burning questions to our esteemed panel members. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics including the differences between European and U.S. soccer cultures, secrets of La Masia, Barcelona Philosophy and will gain deep insight into the potential future of soccer.
Albert Puig is a UEFA pro license holder and instructor for the Catalan Football Federation with 30 years of experience in youth soccer and 11 years with FC Barcelona.
Hugo Perez is in the U.S. National Team Hall of Fame, played professionally in the U.S., France, Swede and El Salvador and is currently the Director for Silicon Valley Soccer Academy.
Mark Christie coaches for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy, is Director of Bay Area Barcelona, has 14 years of youth soccer coaching experience and is the founder of Euro Soccer Training.
Andrew Donnery is the CEO for the biggest youth club in CYSA, is the ex-head coach of the u17 Bermuda national team and holds 14 coaching licenses.
Paul Bright is the Technical Director for the Coaching Manual, is former academy coach at Premier league club and is UEFA A licensed.
The event will be hosted at the Santa Clara Marriott at 2700 Mission College Boulevard, Santa Clara, California 95054. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite for $30. Admission includes appetizers and refreshments and access to soccer champions. The event is open to all ages.
