Parade – Starpoint Resort Group notes that the Las Vegas Spring Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, February 13th, beginning at 11am. Extravagant floats and vibrant colors commemorating the history of the Asian community take over the streets along the parade route. The parade beings at the intersection of Freemont and 11th Street and ends at the entrance of the Downtown Container Park. The parade is followed by an afternoon-long party at the Container Park.

Fashion Show – Tournament of Cosplay Fashion is showcasing the latest Japanese fashion styles at the annual Fashion Show. Well-known brands such as Angelic Pretty and Black Pearl Now as well as up-and-coming designers like Scarlet Ginger and Rina Cali will be participating as well.

Botanical Gardens – This year the Bellagio has decorated their botanical gardens to celebrate the Chinese New Year following in the theme of the Year of the Monkey. The exhibit is free of charge and will be available through March 12th. This 14,000 square foot floral display is constantly changing with the season, and is a beautiful and relaxing place to explore.

Cultural Displays – The Bellagio is not the only hotel on the Strip to celebrate the Year of the Monkey. Throughout The Venetian and The Palazzo visitors will find 78 handcrafted monkeys, each with a uniquely painted face. The main feature will be a 5 foot tall, 300 pound monkey king seated at the base of a 38 foot tall wishing tree. Starpoint Resort Group knows walking up and down the Strip will provide visitors with a colorful and unique display of art.

LINQ - The LINQ Promenade will have daily events, including a live dragon and lion dance performance held nightly at 7pm. There will also be eye painting ceremonies, the International Vendor Village with Asian food and crafts, and live entertainment throughout the week. All events are free and open the public and intended to celebrate the heritage and traditions of the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cultures.
