BEIJING, Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2016 G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting was successfully held at Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island from 3-5 November 2016.

Following the G20 Energy Minister's meeting in June, this is the second time this year that the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island has hosted a G20 event and the fourth time for the Kempinski team to successfully complete its mission to host a global forum after APEC in 2014 and the "Understanding China Conference" in 2015.

More than 500 representatives from G20 members, guest countries, as well as international organizations attended the G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting with a total of 552 room nights occupied during the three-day event.

Among the VIP attendees were Mr. Wan Gang, minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Yin Hejiu, Vice Minister of Science and Technology as well as Mr. Xu Jianpei, Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
