Designed by Robertson & Caine, this midsized catamaran builds on the best features of its predecessor the 444, but through a redesign of the interior accommodations and exterior styling, improves both sailing performance and experience.

"Sunsail continues to challenge us to be at the forefront of yachting innovation by balancing what charter guests want with heightened sailing performance," said John Robertson, of Robertson & Caine.

"The new 454 catamaran is a spectacular addition to the Sunsail fleet," said Scott Farquharson, Sunsail General Manager.  "The design is clearly still signature Robertson & Caine, but the sleeker silhouette and refined interior create a new level of on-the-water experience. This is a sharp looking and incredible performing boat!"

The exterior styling has evolved from the more curvaceous deck features on the current range, to a sharper, more angular look, topped by a sleek new deck hardtop, which extends from aft cockpit to forward cockpit.

The interior refinements are where the Sunsail 454 stands apart from the competition.

The size of hull windows have been dramatically increased and an overhead skylight has been added to the saloon to allow natural light to flood the interior.

"We sail in some of world's most gorgeous destinations and now our guests will be able to view them from 360 degrees whether below or on deck," said Farquharson.

Additional refinements to the interior include the use of natural colors and subtle lighting which combine to make the interior feel larger than it is.

As with its predecessor, the Sunsail 454 offers four spacious double cabins, each with their own en-suite head and shower, providing comfortable accommodations for up to 10 passengers.

The Sunsail 454 will first debut in Annapolis at the U.S. Sail Boat Show and be available for charters in the British Virgin Islands and St. Martin during the Fall of 2016; then arrive in Croatia and Greece for Spring 2017 season.  Eventually all other Sunsail owned destinations will have them.
