LATHROP, Calif., June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Look for some serious sizzle when T.R.U.C.K! rolls into Baconfest on the Dell-Osso Family Farm in Lathrop, Calif., June 18-19.

T.R.U.C.K! will be Baconfest's centerpiece as Food Network star Guy Fieri hosts both amateur and pro cooking contests on the dual competition-kitchen stage aboard the custom converted container.

The massive and unique T.R.U.C.K! makes its formal competition debut at the festival with Guy Fieri emceeing the two cooking contests aboard the main stage that sports two mirror-image pro kitchens, fully stocked with the latest culinary prep and finish equipment.

"T.R.U.C.K! is a carefully designed mobile facsimile of a brick and mortar restaurant," said Jim Furci, managing partner and resident chef of Culinary Performance Media (CPM), creator of T.R.U.C.K!

The 70-foot-long platform transforms when opened into two professional-grade custom competition kitchens, and a media wall that includes an 18-foot jumbotron centered above the roll-out stage. Two additional sets of interactive displays fold up to flank each side.

In a mystery basket-style contest, Fieri will emcee as eight cooks vie for the Amateur Baconfest Chef Champion title on Saturday. Pro chefs will follow the same seeding and mystery-basket challenge Sunday to be crowned Baconfest Pro Chef Champion. Top prizes for this inaugural competition are $1000 for pros, and dinner at the French Laundry in Yountsville for the amateurs.

Chefs and cooks will find the kitchens aboard T.R.U.C.K! accommodating to whatever dishes they design.

"With the most up-to-date professional kitchen equipment, such as dual Blodgett ovens, a salamander for finishing hot dishes, and a blast chiller built into the rolling island, the chefs will be able to create any type of cuisine they desire," Furci said.

From its eight taps, T.R.U.C.K! will serve craft brews from Languintas Brewing Company, Knee Deep Brewery, Pyramid Breweries, Ballast Point Brewery, Negra Modelo, Anchor Brewing Company, and Leinenkugel's Brewing Company.

Baconfest weekend features nonstop music with 20 bands on two stages, and top breweries sampling and selling beers. Bacon lovers can eat their way through Bacon Alley's food vendors, and enjoy the Sunnyvalley Bacon Bar featuring Sunnyvalley Smoked Meat's five popular flavors of bacon.

Family activities and arts-and-crafts vendors as well as commercial interests fill out the festival.

While this is the first food festival for T.R.U.C.K!, the rolling kitchen made its debut before hundreds of brand managers at the Bellagio Convention Center in Las Vegas in November. Recent appearances include a Sysco event in April in Miami for food professionals in the South Florida market where T.R.U.C.K!, is housed.

It's purpose is to connect brands and consumers on an experiential level. "T.R.U.C.K! screams interaction, mobility, and engagement. We're connecting the dots between digital and social while adding an experiential ingredient that creates an emotional bond for brands," said Daphne Weaver, CEO of CPM.

The turn-key T.R.U.C.K! is available for placement at food and beverage festivals, branding events, brand introductions, and more.

Culinary Performance Media, based in Lake Worth, Fla., designed the truck. It was custom-built by Cruising Kitchens of Austin, Texas.
