GREENOUGH, Mont., Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Montana's premier luxury ranch resort, The Resort at Paws Up, known for year-round adventures and stellar culinary events, continues its WinterFest tradition. Much like Paws Up's successful established weekend events Montana Master Grillers (May) and Montana Master Chefs (September), this gourmet retreat features outstanding guest chefs focused on hearty fare, blood-warming wine and whiskey pairings, rejuvenating coffee and plenty of adrenaline-pumping activity. WinterFest will also feature a variety of educational and interactive opportunities to rub shoulders with America's top culinary talent—from cooking demonstrations and intimate seminars to five-course dinners and elite wine receptions. Paws Up Executive Chef Ben Jones will be joined by four featured chefs this year, giving guests the opportunity to prepare mouthwatering offerings and dine with the best of the best.

Culinary Talent: WinterFest 2017 will feature dinners and unique interactive opportunities with world-class chefs, including Paws Up's own Executive Chef Ben Jones and Chef Colby Garrelts and Chef Megan Garrelts from the Kansas City restaurants Bluestem and Rye, along with Top Chef competitor Chef Kelly Liken (Vail, Colorado's Harvest restaurant) and Top Chef competitor (first runner-up Season 10 and current contestant on Season 14) and Paws Up favorite Chef Brooke Williamson (co-chef/co-owner of Playa Provisions, The Tripel, Hudson House and Da Kikokiko in the Los Angeles area). As part of the weekend event, guests will embrace the snow and partake in a myriad of wilderness adventures like snowmobiling or cross-country skiing with one-on-one interaction with these culinary powerhouses.

Pairings + Rejuvenation: The Resort has guests covered both day and night as Master Sommelier Chuck Furuya will select fine wines for the winter-themed meals and Cravens Coffee will be providing after-dinner decaf and eye-opening brews in the morning. The locally based Blacksmith Brewing Company will be pouring their award-winning craft beers throughout the weekend.

Entertainment: When guests are not wining and dining with the chefs or taking part in adventures in The Resort's 37,000 snow-filled acres, they can enjoy the serenades of the featured musical acts: Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter Brian Pounds, a Season 5 competitor on The Voice, and local guitarist and composer, John Floridis.

WinterFest weekend is held January 19–22, 2017. All-inclusive rates start at $745 per person per night for four days, three nights. This includes a private home, three meals daily for two adults (including breakfast, all featured lunches and multicourse dinners), wine and more wine by famous vintners with passes to all wine tastings, all scheduled events, three activities of choice per person (activities include snowmobiling, winter horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, sporting clays, ice skating or a biathlon), a showcase of live music performed nightly, airport transportation to/from Missoula International Airport (MSO) and on-property transportation.
