'Tis the Season for a Family Getaway to Woodstock, Vermont!

• Suicide Six Ski Area, mid-December season opening
  Closer to Woodstock is the iconic Suicide Six Ski Area, established in the mid 1930's on the opposite side of the hill from the site of the first ski tow in the U.S.  A new quad lift shortens the ride to the top of the mountain, from which skiers can choose the beginner trail "Easy Mile" or test their skills on the challenging "Face". • 15^th Annual Holiday House Tour, December 10

Voted one of Vermont's Top Ten Winter events by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the highlight of the weekend is the Wassail Parade through the center of Woodstock, with more than fifty horses and riders dressed in holiday costumes and period dress from the early 19th Century.
