Sweden locations now fully operational as Egencia, marking the transition from VIA Egencia near complete

STOCKHOLM, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Egencia®, the business travel brand of the Expedia group (NASDAQ: EXPE), today announced that its Sweden operations officially changed its corporate name from VIA Egencia to Egencia. This marks an important step in the integration that began when Egencia acquired VIA Travel in 2012.

Over the past several years, both the Egencia and VIA teams worked together to make sure all employees are trained to use Egencia's global travel business travel platform, and clients and travellers are aware of the benefits of being a part of a worldwide travel brand.
