Via Rail prepared to help you outsmart winter - High demand for seats with snow and freezing rain forecast for eastern Ontario and southern Quebec

MONTRÉAL, Feb. 15, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - With a forecast overnight and tomorrow of heavy snow for eastern Ontario and freezing rain for southern Quebec, VIA Rail reports that demand for seats is continuing to escalate. Knowing that travel throughout the region will be challenging, VIA Rail says it is once again ready to help travellers outsmart winter. The company indicated that it will add capacity where possible to meet the increased demand, but urges passengers to book as early as possible and to verify departure and arrival times of trains in the affected regions.
