There is huge scope to give boost to the rural economy. Under this thrust, a mega event is shaping up in the name of 'Vibrant Saurashtra - 2018'. Also, the Central Government has decided to double the income of the farmers till 2022. In this quest the effort is being carried out.

As per the wording given by Saurashtra Oil Mill Association; Vibrant Saurashtra Summit expo is coming up with its second edition for more than 15 thousand farmers, entrepreneurs, businessmen and for professional agricultural researchers. This is an attempt to give a global platform to the local farmers. New emerging businesses like new machine equipments, processing units, chemicals, pesticides are participating in this expo. This expo will give them opportunity to expand new business segments like tourism and hospitality as well. Moreover this platform will provide them detailed information about latest technology, about globalization and they can analyze the things by themselves, which will enable them to understand the quality standards. Many distinguished guests and invitees would be attending this four day expo.

Peanut festival would be the centre of attraction for all the visitors. The main purpose of organizing the festival is to spread awareness about the other usages of peanut and variants of peanuts.
