SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Visit California has officially launched its online video hub, Dream365TV. Home to original and curated videos showcasing the state's abundance and distinctive lifestyle, Dream365TV brings to life the Dream Big promise: "If you can dream it, you can do it in California."

Dream365TV is an online platform that originated as a YouTube 24-hour takeover campaign
in February 2014. Since then, the initiative has grown to become a dynamic hub of inspirational video programming designed to offer awe-inspiring yet alternative perspectives on
The Golden State.

"Dream365TV originated from the idea that chasing dreams is a year-round pursuit in California," says Caroline Beteta, president and CEO of Visit California. "The featured original series, such as California Dream Eater, exemplify California's fun-loving and free-spirited vibe and inspire visitors to come experience the state for themselves."

New episodes of the original food series, "California Dream Eater," launched this week as well. This "eatertainment" program follows food-lover Chase Ramsey as he passionately and hilariously eats his way around the Golden State on behalf of foodies everywhere. The new episodes feature eateries along the Central Coast and join existing Southern California and Sacramento episodes.

The California Dream Eater series utilizes Instagram to engage viewers and choose what Ramsey eats and where, at the handle @CaliforniaDreamEater. From food trucks to farm-to-table restaurants, as well as Ramsey's personal favorite - burritos, he turns foodie dreams into a reality through an engaging, comedic format.

"Being a California Dream Eater is a tough job, but someone has to do it," jokes Ramsey. "The series is a fun and informative way to explore the incredible culinary opportunities available across the Golden State, while engaging with viewers who decide what and where I should eat on my travels."

The series sits on Dream365TV alongside other existing original content. California Dreamers is an inspiring documentary series that profiles people in California who are chasing their dreams in the Golden State. A variety of Dreamers have been featured including 'Choreographer to the Stars' Ryan Heffington, Olympic Snowboarder Shaun White, Pro Skateboarder Bob Burnquist and Performance Painter David Garibaldi.

California, Always in Season shines a spotlight on California-grown produce and the chefs who turn this bounty of specialty crops into culinary masterpieces. The series, in partnership with CA Grown, highlights locally grown or made food and beverage offerings paired with the people and history behind these items.

The digital video network is available at www.VisitCalifornia.com/Dream365TV and is accessible globally at youtube.com/visitcalifornia. Plans are underway to roll out localized versions of the network in key international markets to enhance relevancy and appeal, starting with China later this year.

Since the inception of Dream365TV, the available video content on www.VisitCalifornia.com/Dream365TV has been viewed more than 61 million times, equating to 114 million minutes watched – equivalent to 218 years!

Viewers can engage with California Dream Eater and Visit California by following @CaliforniaDreamEater and #DreamEats. Dream365TV can be accessed at www.VisitCalifornia.com/Dream365TV.
