Waterfall Resort Alaska Announces Summer Line-Up in Advance of 2016 Season Opener

KETCHIKAN, Alaska, May 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Waterfall Resort, the most popular fishing lodge in Alaska, is gearing up for the 2016 summer season (June 8 – August 15) with a variety of adventure-filled events for guests to take advantage of this year's recently announced prime king salmon fishing limits. The 2016 calendar of events includes everything from the new Great Alaska Tee Off, June 14-17, to a Father's Day Weekend for the record books June 17-20, a wild frontier Fourth of July Celebration, July 4, and a multigenerational trip to remember over Seniors Getaway week, August 9-15.

This action-packed calendar of events will complement an exciting fishing season as the Alaska Department of Fish and Game recently increased annual take-home limits for king salmon fishing in the region. The newly announced limits mean nonresident guests at Waterfall Resort can keep up to two king salmon per day during peak season in June. In July and August, the daily limit is one king salmon for nonresident anglers. The annual limit for king salmon is now six in total per person, doubling the allowance from earlier years.
