PLANO, Texas, April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 15,000 WorldVentures Independent Representatives came together at the Gila River conference center in Glendale, Ariz. this past weekend for the company's U.S. Momentum training conference.

In the spirit of its core value, Care and Contribute, 100 Representatives kicked off the event on Friday, Apr. 7 with a Volunteer Day organized by the WorldVentures Foundation at area Metro Phoenix Boys & Girls Clubs. The group was divided among four clubs to do a variety of "polish and shine" projects to prepare for the upcoming summer season when the clubs are open all day. This volunteer effort served over 800 youth and teen members.

One of these clubs, the Harry and Sandy Rosenzweig branch, is the site of the Muhammad and Lonnie Ali DreamCourt that was opened last year on May 6 in partnership with WorldVentures Foundation and Basketball Hall-of-Famer, Nancy Lieberman Charities Founder and Sacramento Kings Assistant Coach Nancy Lieberman. DreamCourts are state-of-the-art basketball facilities built in lower-income communities to create a place where area youth can pursue their love of basketball in a safe, inviting and inspiring environment. This club welcomes about 175 kids per day.

"In collaboration with our national partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we are proud to once again be leaving a destination better than we found it," said WorldVentures Founder and Chief Visionary Officer Wayne Nugent. WorldVentures Foundation Executive Director Gwyneth Lloyd agrees, adding "There is so much enthusiasm from our reps to really make a difference in the lives of kids in Phoenix."

During the conference, the WorldVentures Foundation revealed its new branding featuring the Heart to Serve logo of interlocking hearts. The new branding represents the foundation's mission to serve children around the world. Along with the unveiling, while the entire audience of over 15,000 attendees formed the heart shape with their hands, Christian rapper Princeton Marcellis performed his new song, aptly entitled Heart to Serve which will be available for download on iTunes in the coming days. The majority of the proceeds will go towards the foundation's unrestricted fund to be allocated across a variety of initiatives.

Throughout the weekend the WorldVentures Foundation also continued its public campaign for the Journey to 100 initiative, which aims to build the 100th bottle school in partnership with Hug It Forward. Bottle schools are schools built using "eco-bricks": plastic bottles stuffed with inorganic trash. Entire communities come together to build a more sustainable educational infrastructure for their future. WorldVentures Foundation has funded 68 bottle schools to date.
